Luis Manzano stirred laughter on social media anew with his latest joke about the longest-running noontime show, “Eat Bulaga.”

KAMI learned that on his Instagram page, Luis jestingly shared with his followers that there were five pioneer hosts of the show.

His post hilariously suggested that John Cena and Anne Curtis were among its original hosts, aside from Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon.

“5 pala sila,” Luis said in his post.

“Naikwento ng aming team na bago pala sya magshowtime ay kasama muna si Anne sa Eat Bulaga. Nasa kanta na nga di niyo pa alam!! Haaaaaay naku!”

Luis’ funny post then garnered different reactions from his followers.

"Eat Bulaga" is the longest-running noontime variety program on Philippine television. The show premiered on July 30, 1979. Its pioneer hosts include showbiz icons Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, and Tito Sotto. TAPE's "Eat Bulaga" went back live on air with its new lineup of hosts last Monday.

Maine Mendoza also expressed joy in a post on social media over the impending re-airing of a show by TVJ on TV5. Just today, June 7, MediaQuest group has announced it has entered into an agreement with TVJ to provide content on TV5 and the group’s affiliate organizations. While it wasn’t revealed as to whether they would be carrying the “Eat Bulaga” brand, Maine used one of the show’s tagline “isang libo’t isang tuwa” in her own post.

Maja Salvador likewise took to social media and reacted to Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon or TVJ and their co-hosts' new home. In her heartwarming post, Maja penned a short message to "mga Kapatid." The actress likewise dubbed the said hosts as "mga legit Dabarkads."
