Allan K, one of the co-hosts of the original "Eat Bulaga" said in a News 5 report that they are jobless for now.

However, Allan K is also filled with high hopes and are looking forward to a better future.

"Jobless kami for now but we're looking forward to a better future na naghihintay sa amin diyan sa TV5," Allan said.

He also said that they have already moved on.

"Naka-move on na syempre. Wala e, nangyari na," he added.

Allan also explained that he never considered thinking that he will stay with TAPE simply because he has a sense of loyalty and will always follow where his bosses will go.

"Never ko na-consider 'yung thought na mag-stay. Never. I was born in the Year of the Dog so I have this sense of loyalty. Kung saan pupunta 'yung boss ko, susunod ako with wagging tail pa," he said.

"Eat Bulaga" is the longest-running noontime variety program on Philippine television. The show premiered on July 30, 1979. Its pioneer hosts include showbiz icons Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, and Tito Sotto. "Eat Bulaga" went back live on air on GMA with its new lineup of hosts last Monday.
